PSYCHOSIS UNDERSTOOD REACHES 3,600 FOLLOWERS!

The lived experience Instagram account, @psychosis_understood, backed by AEPCC, has grown rapidly – from 500 followers in March to 3,600 in August this year.

This growth has been made possible by a small investment in boosted posts, which helped new audiences discover the account. Impressively, half of the people who visited the profile chose to follow – double the 25 per cent conversion rate typically considered strong. This highlights the need for the support Psychosis Understood provides.

Launched to connect with people who may feel isolated in their experience of psychosis, the account is Australia’s only Instagram account run by multiple people with lived experience of psychosis. It highlights diverse perspectives and helps foster community.

With growing demand, AEPCC is now seeking funding to continue expanding Psychosis Understood’s reach.
